Freelancers and small agencies were running client work across spreadsheets, email threads, separate time trackers, and ad-hoc quote PDFs. Project status lived in one place, billing in another, and client communication in a third — with no shared workspace, unclear task ownership, and no way to gate collaborator access after a project ended.

We built Taskoneer as a multi-tenant Laravel SaaS with subdomain-per-workspace isolation, role-based access for freelancers, clients, and platform admins, and a single product surface for projects, Kanban tasks, real-time messaging, quotes, retainers, meetings, Gantt charts, and per-seat Stripe subscriptions. Sensitive fields are encrypted at the application layer, tenant databases provision automatically on signup, and staging plus production deploy pipelines keep landlord and tenant migrations in sync.
